Public Family Docent-led Tour: Creature Feature

Saturday, May 23 | 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. | Glass Pavilion

Get ready to explore the exciting world of glass animals and discover how fire and imagination come together to make something truly unforgettable! For hundreds of years, artists have used their creativity to turn glass into beautiful and useful things. Learn how glassmakers create everything from everyday cups to sparkling animals from glass. From delicate bunnies to fierce tigers and whimsical birds, discover how these glass animals bring stories and nature to life in dazzling ways.

In order to participate in the tour, each young participant must have a responsible adult signed up and with them for the entire duration of the tour.

If you need accommodations, assistance, or appropriate modifications to fully participate in this event, please let us know by contacting Access Initiatives at [email protected]. Please note that while we endeavor to provide everyone with a positive visitor experience, last-minute requests may not be accommodated; we ask for requests to be made, at minimum, three days prior to the event. Thank you.

If you've registered but can no longer attend, kindly notify the museum as soon as possible so we can accommodate others.
