Gallery Group: 1948 Gallery Group 

The Gallery Group program offers a special opportunity for visitors to explore the TMA collection in greater depth through regular Docent-led tours. Participating groups meet throughout the year and enjoy discounted rates when scheduling a minimum of four annual visits. Tour themes and topics may vary by Docent and the interest of each group. 

Location: Green Building or Glass Pavilion 
Cost: $20 (includes all 4 tours) 

Date, Time, and Location: 

  • September 24, 2025 at 1:30 PM in the Green Building 
  • October 22, 2025 at 1:30 PM in the Glass Pavilion 
  • April 22, 2026 at 1:30 PM in the Glass Pavilion 
  • May 27, 2026 at 1:30 PM in the Glass Pavilion 

TMA Tour Policies 

Before proceeding, please take a moment to review our reservation policies. 

Tour Policies 

These tours are designed for adult participants. Guests are welcome to join and may pay a $5 drop-in fee at the Visitor Services desk on the day of the tour. If you plan to bring a guest, please inform your Docent in advance. 

Refunds 

All Gallery Group tour registrations are non-refundable once processed. 

Parking 

Parking at TMA is free to all visitors thanks to a generous donation from the Taylor Automotive Family, honoring the late Julie Taylor.  

  • For tours in the Green Building, the nearest parking is Lot #1, accessible from Art Museum Drive. 
  • For tours in the Glass Pavilion, the closest parking is Lot #6, located off Parkwood Avenue. 

Please note that the museum opens at 11 AM and early entry is not permitted. 

Changes/Cancellations  

In the event a tour must be canceled, registered participants will be notified promptly and offered the opportunity to reschedule. The Museum reserves the right to cancel or reschedule tours due to unforeseen circumstances. While we strive to provide advance notice, cancellations may occur on short notice. 

Please note that refunds are not available for cancellations or no-shows. 

Accommodations 

Please inform us of any accommodations before the tour season begins. Providing this information will help us support you during your visit.   

Emergency Policy 

In case of injury or illness, Museum security will provide basic first aid and ensure the guest is as comfortable as possible. If professional medical attention is needed, 911 will be called to transport the individual to the nearest hospital. Every effort will be made to notify the guest’s emergency contacts.  

Promotional Photography Policy 

Photographs may be taken by staff during your visit to be used for promotional and non-commercial purposes. By registering you acknowledge that TMA has your permission to use your image in Museum materials. 

FAQ: 

How do I know when and where my Gallery Group tours will take place? 

  • Please review your ticket details carefully, including tour dates, meeting times, and locations for the upcoming season. Your Docent will also confirm this information with you. 

Do I need to check in at the Visitor Services desk on the day of my tour? 

  • Yes, please check in at the Visitor Services Desk upon arrival, then meet your Docent nearby. Your Docent will take attendance before leading the group to the galleries. 

Do ticketed exhibition rates apply if I attend with my Gallery Group? 

  • Tours scheduled for special exhibitions require tickets for entry. Non-TMA members are responsible for paying the exhibition admission fee.
