Bugs in the Brush: A Ruysch Tour for Young Explorers

Saturday, June 14 & Sunday, June 15 | Levis Gallery Entrance

Times:
  • 11:30a.m.–12:15p.m.
  • 3:30–4:15p.m.
Discover both new and familiar bugs in the special exhibition Rachel Ruysch: Nature into Art. This family-friendly Docent-led tour is a 45-minute experience that invites you to explore with a guide the fascinating world of bugs like the avocado mantis, admiral butterfly, herculean beetle, and other tiny creatures hidden within Ruysch’s vibrant floral paintings. See how the smallest details can tell a story in a painting.

In order to participate in the tour, each young explorer must have a responsible adult signed up and with them for the entire duration of the tour. Exhibition entry is $10 for nonmembers and free for members.

If you have signed up and are no longer able to attend, please inform the museum at your earliest convenience.
