Want to enter the 2025 TMA Poetry Prize Contest but don’t know where to start? Need more information on the eligible artworks, or just a space to talk through your ideas? You’re in luck! In addition to the Adult Writing Workshops with Jonie McIntire on February 8 and 22, TMA’s Kress Interpretive Fellow Kennedy Morganfield will be hosting Office Hours at the TMA Library & Archives on March 6. These hours are open to all ages to learn about artworks from a member of the Interpretation department, generate ideas, and workshop drafts. Stop by before the contest closes on March 12!
 
Kennedy Morganfield is the Kress Interpretive Fellow at the Toledo Museum of Art. Her words have been published in Flaunt Magazine, and she maintains a Substack blog, Parent Newsletter, with a thousands-strong readership. Kennedy most enjoys writing creative nonfiction, but she also loves reading and trying her hand at poetry.
