The Power of Individuals (Portraits of Power)
Thursday, May 15, 2025 | 4:00-6:00p.m. | Classroom 128
Portraits are a powerful way to tell a person's story, capture moments in their life, and express a person's identity. In this workshop educators will explore powerful portraits in the TMA collection. Participants will practice utilizing strategies to engage learners with portraits in the galleries then capture identity in powerful ways through hands-on strategies.
Teachers of all subjects and grade levels, including pre-service teachers, are welcome. Content is adaptable for all ages and refreshments are provided.
