Visit the Toledo Museum of Art to shop and view a beautiful array of hand blown glass pumpkins during our fifth annual Glass Harvest. Explore the Rita B. Kern Sensory Garden and take your pick from a spectacular collection of over 300 colorful glass pumpkins of all shapes and sizes. Every piece is hand made by our team of studio artists in the Glass Pavilion at TMA. A free gift is included with any purchase at the 2025 Glass Harvest event.

Learn the exciting and ancient art of glassblowing. In this class you will explore TMA's world-class glass collection for insights and inspiration. Students will be introduced to the basic mechanics of glassblowing and will begin a simple system for making forms and using color. No experience necessary but please note this class can be physically strenuous.

Groups looking to get a hands-on experience in glass should look no further than hosting a Private Glass Art Workshop. Adults and teens aged 14+ will have an opportunity to work one on one with a Glass Studio Artist in the Hot Shop to create an object out of glass. There are a variety of projects to choose from in the 'Pick Your Project' option which gives your group 8 object choices, allowing for individuality in your group's experience.

Bring your group to watch works of art in glass take shape before your eyes. Join Glass Studio Artists for live glassmaking demonstrations in our Hot Shop at the Glass Pavilion.

A Standard Demo is one hour long. The Glass Studio Artist will introduce the audience to the Hot Shop, and create an object, while explaining the process and history of blowing glass. The demonstration piece will be provided to ticket holder following a 24hr annealing cycle.
