Be among the first to experience Losing Ourselves Together: The Art of Bobby Anspach during this exclusive Members Preview before the exhibition opens to the public. Featuring the visionary work of Toledo-born artist Bobby Anspach, the exhibition invites visitors into a series of immersive installations where light and sound foster connection, shift perception, and encourage reflection.

Anchored by Anspach’s Place for Continuous Eye Contact installations, these environments blend light, color, sound, and optical effects that invite guests to explore themes of presence, interconnectedness, and human connection. Museum staff will be present to assist guests with eye patches and headphones and guide them through the experience.

Members are invited to enjoy the exhibition with timed entry during this special preview event. A cash bar will be available through the evening, providing an opportunity to relax, connect with fellow members, and celebrate the opening of this remarkable exhibition.

This special preview event is available exclusively to Toledo Museum of Art members. Admission is free, but a timed entry ticket is required and capacity is limited. Reserve your preferred entry time in advance to secure your spot for this unique and transformative exhibition experience.

What to Expect

• Free timed tickets are required.
• The experience lasts approximately 24 minutes.
• Visitors begin with a brief introductory film before entering the installation.
• Please note that this exhibition includes flashing lights, sound elements, and enclosed spaces.
• Museum staff will guide guests through the experience and are available to provide support throughout the visit.
• A dedicated reflection space is available following the experience.
• Ages 7 and up are welcome. Children ages 7–13 must be accompanied by a guardian.

Arrival Information: Please arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled ticket time. Experiences begin promptly to ensure the best possible visit for all guests.
