Art Book Club: The Art Spy

Join the Toledo Museum of Art Library and Archives for a book discussion of The Art Spy: The Extraordinary Untold Tale of WWII Resistance Hero Rose Valland―A True Account of Her Fight Against Art theft and Tyranny in WWII Paris which tells the remarkable true story of Rose Valland, a French art historian who risked her life to protect thousands of works of art during World War II. While working in a Nazi-controlled Museum in Paris, Valland secretly documented the looting of Jewish-owned art and provided crucial information to the Resistance and Allied forces.
