Join the Toledo Museum of Art Library and Archives and members of Protective Services for a book discussion of All the Beauty in the World: The Metropolitan Museum of Art and Me, in which Patrick Bringley recounts his unexpected decade as a guard at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. After leaving his career at The New Yorker during a time of personal loss, Bringley finds solace among the museum’s galleries, offering a moving reflection on art, grief, and the quiet community of those who care for the world’s cultural treasures.
